In Loving Memory
of
My PC Angel
Jim Underwood

This is the most difficult of web pages I've ever had to do.
It is with great sorrow that I must tell everyone that my Husband and Life Partner,
Jim Underwood, passed away on February 9, 2001.
Those of us who knew him, will agree that he was a man to be
admired not only for his generosity, but his honor and
sense of humor.

Jim, being the prideful man that he was, didn't share the details of his
vast array of physical problems with a great deal of people.
He gave of himself whether in good times or bad.
Hepatitis C is a devastating disease with no cure.
Jim became contaminated with the virus through a blood
transfusion in the 1980's.  For years it remained dormant,
only to suddenly become very active in December of 2000.
We were both scared and grief stricken when the news of
its activity was given to us.  I prayed to God that he
wouldn't suffer and that I would be able to survive this
emotional devastation.
Without the wonderful support of Family and Friends, I would
have not kept my sanity.  To them and to The Hospice of
The Highland Rim in Tullahoma,  I extend my heart full of
gratitude.

Before he crossed over, Jim promised to always be here in my heart.
He has kept that promise and I feel his presence in every thing I do.
For all of you, who are reading this.  Please educate yourselves on
the Hepatitis C Virus.  It could save your life.  Why do I say that?

An Angel Told Me So................
I Love You Jim,
Your Wife,
Cheryl
