This web site is dedicated to the angels
who have guided me through this life,
helped me along my way, and in essence, "spoken" to me....each in a "voice" of their own.
Throughout my life, I have been given the gift of being able
to put my thoughts and feelings into words; mostly through verse, and at times,
into analogies. This site is a collection of those writings. Although each one is different, in my heart there was an
Angel guiding my hand
as I wrote. It is my firm belief that our lives are filled with choices and that everything, from the simple to the most difficult, happen to us for
a reason. Reasons not always known to us at the time, if ever, but non-the-less, a reason which will someday become apparent to us.
My name is Cheryl, I'm 48 years old. I married my best friend and soul mate, Jim, and
we had a "happily ever after" marriage in a small town in Southern
Middle Tennessee.
Jim and I met on the Internet in July of 1997, while I was recovering from lung surgery. We chatted on Mirc as well as email and ICQ for
over a year before we got up the courage to meet face to face. And what a meeting it was!! I already knew I loved this man from the
inside out.....seeing the love he had for me in his eyes just confirmed my feelings for him even more. In October of 1998, he moved to Tennessee
from Georgia, bringing his Red Lory Parrot, Gabby with him. We were married in
Springfield, Tennessee on February 26, 1999.
I guess the old saying that wisdom comes with age is true....now that I'm older and more mature, I realize the things I'd
over looked and misunderstood in my earlier years. Most of all, I realized how very short our lives can be and that even though it may sound silly, we really do
need to stop and enjoy the simple things in our lives, for those are the things that bring meaning to our lives.
On February 9, 2001, after less
than 2 years of marriage, a very special Angel was sent to deliver My Jim to
Heaven. His last breath was felt upon my lips and his last words were,
"I Love You." Everyday, I still feel his Love and Thank God
for allowing me to share Jim's life and death with him.
